Aubrey W. Johnson, 73, of Huntingtown, MD, died October 18, 2009 at Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, MD. Aubrey was born March 1, 1936 in Bethesda, MD to Aubrey, Sr. and Wilma Varnes Johnson.

He was employed as a pipe fitter foreman with the federal government. In his leisure time he enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting and photography. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan, and helped start youth football leagues in Calvert County. He was also a Little League Baseball umpire for many years.

He is survived by his wife Debbie Johnson, sons Bill Johnson (Alicia) of Virginia, David Johnson (Marsha) of Florida and John Blake (Randi) of Maryland. He is the brother of Ralph Johnson (Ella) and Brenda Plumb, both of Virginia, and the late Ronald Johnson. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
