David Allan Lambert, Sr. age 66 of Chesapeake Beach, MD died September 22, 2009 at Calvert Memorial Hospital. He was born March 13, 1943 in Pen Argyl, PA to Gilbert and Verna Mae (Cowling) Lambert and attended Pen Argyl schools. After graduation from high school Dave joined the United States Navy in 1961 and served as a Communications Technician Seaman until being discharged in 1965.
He married Patricia Sullivan in Prince Frederick in May of 1987. Dave was employed as the auto shop foreman of Anacostia Chrysler Plymouth for thirty years until it closed in 1996. For the last nine years he was a commuter bus driver for Keller Transportation driving the Waldorf route. Dave was a very outgoing and personable individual who enjoyed meeting and helping people, he was an active member of A.A. for 25 years. Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, the Washington Redskins and the Baltimore Orioles. He was the devoted husband of Patricia Lambert. Father of David Lambert, Jr. of Bedford, PA, Trisha Lee White and her husband Danny of Everett, PA, Tracey Groff and her husband Ted of North Hampton, PA, Tarra Lambert of Bedford, PA, Tonya Greenawalt and her husband Todd of Everett, PA. and their mother Georgia Lee Vore of Bedford, PA. Dave is also survived by nine grandchildren and a sister Barbara Welser of Pen Argyl, PA and his pets Bailey and Molly.
