Sarah Yvette Chadwick, 45, of Waldorf, MD, died September 15, 2009, at Future Care Nursing Facility.

Mrs. Chadwick was an executive secretary for 28 years, last working with Hughes, Hubbard, and Reed Law Firm.

Born December 6, 1963, in La Plata, MD, she was the daughter of John F. Edelen, Sr., and Mary E. Edelen.

Predeceased by her brother, John F. Edelen, Jr., of Upper Marlboro, MD.

Survived by her son, Jerell D. Edelen of Capitol Heights, MD; brothers, James A. Edelen and his wife Desiree of District Heights, MD; and Joseph C. Thomas, of Washington, DC; sisters, Agnes R. and her husband Roger Chase of Suitland, MD; Barbara A. Jackson of Indian Head, MD; Mary T. Edelen of Suitland, MD; Michelle D. Edelen of District Heights, MD; and Rebecca B. and her husband Eric Edelen of Rockville, MD. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 22, 2009, from 10-11 AM at St. Paul's Baptist Church, 6611 Walker Mill Road, Capitol Heights, MD.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 22, 2009, at 11AM at St. Paul's Church.

Rev. Louis Anthony will officiate.

Interment will be at Heritage Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
