Elizabeth Lourita Pearson, 83, of Bel Alton, MD, died September 13, 2009, at Genesis La Plata Center, La Plata, MD.
Mrs. Pearson was a sales clerk for 10 years with People's Drug Store and owned and operated a general store in North Beach, known as Ma Brown's and Bingo in North Beach, Calvert County, MD from 1964-1968. She enjoyed playing bingo and being with her grandchildren. Born August 31, 1926, in Grafton, WV, she was the daughter of the late Edward White and the late Rosemary McCafferty White. Predeceased by her parents; her husband, Charles R. Pearson; and sisters, Sara Sferra and Patricia Shoemaker. Survived by daughter, Rose A. and her husband Richard Wagner of Bel Alton, MD; half-brother, Joseph and his wife Helen Pappalardo of Perry, OH; half-sisters, Mary Jaco of WV and Philomena Hoban of OH; granddaughters, Amy McGowan, Monica King, Katherine Wagner, and Sara Zetty; great grandchildren, Justin and Ryan King, Carmen Wagner, and Lillian Zetty. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 16, 2009, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel. Rev. Craig Endicott will officiate. Interment will be October 21, 2009, at 2:00PM at Arlington National Cemetery. Arrangements provided by Raymond Funeral Service. |
