Jane Allen Tyler Yates, 62, of La Plata,Md.

Jane "Penny" Tyler Yates 62 of La Plata, Md. died August 28, 2009 at Civista Medical Center. Born January 7, 1947 in Norfolk,Va. Since her retirement she enjoyed the daily companionship of her husband and Highschool sweethart. She enjoyed going to Captain Billy's to have her "Crab Therapy" as often as she could. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends at Casey Jones and long weekends on the Eastern Shore. Most of all she Loved being a Momma and a Grammie.

She was the daughter of the late Evelyn Jane Jackson Tyler and the late John Goodenow Tyler, II.

She is survived by her husband of over forty-three years Daniel Joseph Yates, children Dana Edwards, Lisa Zanelotti, Catherine Price and her husband Dan. Her grandchildren Bryan and Anthony Zanelotti, Tyler and Matthew Price, sisters Patricia Fulfod and her husband George, Sue Tyler, and her brother John Goodenow Tyler, III and his wife Bee.

Funeral services will be held on Friday September 4, 2009 3pm at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home La Plata, Md. 20646. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Children P.O. Box 2924 La Plata, Md. 20646.
