Darleen Christine Lyons, 65, of Bryantown, MD, died August 28, 2009, at Civista Medical Center, La Plata.

Ms. Lyons attended Oxon Hill High School and was a Sales Executive for the Southland Corporation for 20 years. After retiring, she lived on a farm in Bryantown with her husband where she enjoyed the animals, especially her pet geese.

Born November 11, 1943, in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of Delia Chatman and the late Harland Chatman.

Predeceased by her father.

Survived by her husband, Richard Boone Sr.; her mother, Delia Chatman; sons, Sean W. and his wife Michele Lyons of Huntingtown, MD; Michael P. and his wife Stacy Lyons of Accokeek, MD; and Timothy W. and his wife Lorre Lyons of King George, VA; brothers, Robert Chatman of Crofton, MD; James Chatman of Bryantown, MD; and William Chatman of Ocean City, MD; sisters, Delores Pittman of Hagerstown, MD; Elaine Wallace of FL; and Cherie McClung of Alexandria, VA; grandchildren, Jane and Nicholas.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 2, 2009, from 6PM to 8PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, September 3, 2009, at 11AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church Bryantown, MD.

Father Rory Conley will officiate.

Interment will be at the Church Cemetery.
