Kathrien Kwiecien, 99 of Mechanicsville, MD died on August 2, 2009 at St. Mary's Nursing Center.

Born on February 15, 1910 in Dabrowka Bilgoraj, Poland, she was the daughter of Andrzej and Agnieszka Larwa. She was a homemaker and has resided in this area for 28 years, formerly of Struthers, Ohio. Her enjoyments were, gardening, working outside with her husband, sewing, music, and dancing.

She is survived by her daughter, Krystyna Bentz and her husband, Joe, grandchildren, Joe Bentz, Jr., and his wife Annette, and Nicole Symonds, and her husband Edmund, a great-granddaughter, Brooke Bentz.

A Memorial Service will be held, Monday, August 10, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 28297 Old Village Rd., Mechanicsville, MD.
