Mary Agnes Mattingly, 74, of Leonardtown, MD died on December 8, 2006 at her residence.

Born July 26, 1932 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late George Schley Miles and Mary Agnes Cecil Miles. Mrs. Mattingly graduated from St. Mary's Academy in 1951. Mary Agnes and her husband, John Francis "Jake" Mattingly, were married on December 4, 1952 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Leonardtown, MD where she served as a Eucharistic Minister.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, David Francis Mattingly and John Kevin Mattingly both of Leonardtown, MD. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Daugherty and her brother, George C. Miles.

The family received friends on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 from 4 to 8:00 p.m. in St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Leonardtown, MD with prayers recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.
