Mrs. Garlock was a secretary for Naval Research Labs and retired after 26 years of service. She enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, gardening, and being with her animals. She was a homebody who enjoyed taking care of her kids and had taken care of her mother for many years. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosaryville, MD.

Daughter of the late Charles Benjamin Edwards and the late Mary Viola Wesley Edwards.

Predeceased by his parents and one daughter, Cathy Pilkerton.

Survived by three sons, Charles Kelly (Lisa) Garlock of Bryans Road, MD, John "Mike" (Vicki) Garlock of La Plata, MD, and Jim Garlock of Harrisburg, PA; one daughter, Linda (Lloyd) Miller of Upper Marlboro, MD. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Visitation and Service will be private at the family home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at a later date.
