Roland Harry "Ronnie" Bowen, Jr., age 54, of Great Mills, MD died June 16, 2009 at Washington Hospital Center. He was born January 10, 1955 in Washington, DC to Roland H. and Ethel (Ogden) Bowen, Sr.

Ronnie was employed as a heavy equipment operator.

Surviving are his wife Roberta Buckmaster Bowen, children William M. Bowen of Dunkirk, MD, Dennis A. Bowen of Great Mills, MD and James E. Buckmaster (Angelia) of Chesapeake Beach, MD and Heather M. Hewitt of Great Mills, MD., grandchildren Zachery, Madison and Kennedy Buckmaster. Ronnie is also survived by sisters Joyce Tipton (Gary) of Huntingtown, MD, Donna Gande (John) of Great Mills, MD and Brenda Henehan (Mike) of Mechanicsville, MD.
