She was employed for 39 years as a transportation supervisor for the Agency of International Development/State Department. She was a member of the Isaac Walton League of America-Lois Green Chapter. She was a conservationist, who volunteered with "Save Our Streams" and helped clean up the Potomac River. She loved sewing.

She was daughter of the late Isaac M. Fayard and the late Cecilia P. Fayard.

She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Rolando A. Fayard.

She is survived by her son, Adam Charles Rut of La Plata, Md., two brothers, Al and Carlos O. Fayard, both of California., two grandchildren, Angela Lynn and Robert Charles Rut.

Funeral Service will be private at a later date.

Interment will follow at a later date at the Isaac Walton League Memorial Garden in Gaithersburg, Md.
