Joseph William Paolillo, 67, of Mechanicsville, MD, died June 3, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital, Leonardtown,MD.

Born August 26, 1941 in New York, he was the son of the late Domonic Paolillo and Carmela LaGrecca Paolillo. Mr. Paolillo was a painter with the Department of Defense. He enjoyed crabbing, fishing and video games. He was a devoted family man who loved his grandson, Zander. He also loved his dogs, Sylvia and Thor.

Mr. Paolillo is survived by his wife, Rita Walton Paolillo; son, David and his wife, Christina; grandson, Zander Paolillo; brothers, Domonic Paolillo of New York and John Paolillo of Florida; all his friends at the Georgetown Flea Market; his best friends, David Allen, Norma Greenwell, Mike and Perci Heath; also Jack Finch, Jackson and Rachel Moran, the Bonner family, Diane Budzuk and family and the Hughes family.

Interment services will take place on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
