Nancy Halfpap Carroll, 56, of Waldorf, MD died Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Southern Maryland Hospital Center. Born June 20, 1952, in Cheverly, MD, she was the daughter of Arthur and Helena Bagelmen Halfpap. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Carroll grew up in Suitland, MD and graduated from the Prince Georges County School system. She married Joseph Carroll, III in October of 1973. She was a substitute school teacher in Charles County where she lived for the last 37 years. She loved baking, fishing, blue crabs and hand-crafting.

Mrs. Carroll is survived by her husband, Joseph E. Carroll, III, sons; Joseph E. Carroll IV and his wife Julie of Stafford, VA and Michael W. Carroll of Mechanicsville, MD, brother, Arthur Halfpap of King George, VA, sisters, Carol Chenault of Waldorf, MD and Mary Rash of Virginia Beach, VA and grandsons Adam and Andrew Carroll.
