Fluker, Debra Lynn
Birth: Sunday, August 29, 1954
Death: Thursday, April 09, 2026 at the age of 71 |
Debra Lynn Fluker, born August 29, 1954, in Winona Minnesota passed away on April 9th surrounded by love, and likely still holding strong opinions and a well-earned sense of "I told you so." She proudly served in the United States Navy from approximately 1972 to 1974, where she met her husband David. In 1992, she and her husband David Fluker co-founded their own defense contracting company, Platform Systems. They built it from the ground up and later sold it upon retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Fluker, in 2022.
She is survived by her daughter Michele Adams and her husband Brian Adams, and their children Corey Williams, Kaleb Williams, Ashley Adams, and McKenzie Adams. She is also survived by her daughter Danielle Fluker and her husband Joshua Dominick, and their children Fox Dominick and Sebastian Dominick. She leaves behind her bonus son (nephew)Ryan Peterson, his partner Nicole Lance, and their children Brayden and Braxton, as well as her beloved white German Shepherd, Nina. Debra will be remembered for her strength, her humor, her refusal to sugarcoat anything, and her lifelong commitment to doing things her own way. If you knew her, you knew exactly where you stood, whether you asked or not. She also maintained a deeply loyal, long-term relationship with Misty cigarettes. It is assumed they have lost one of their most dedicated customers. She didn't follow the rules, she didn't follow the crowd, and she certainly didn't do things the easy way. She did them her way, and that's exactly how she should be remembered. Services will be private. Condolences to the family may be left at www.brinsfieldsfuneral.com.
