Alice "Mom" Slaughter, born February 17, 1930 passed away peacefully on 25 January 2026. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred Slaughter and two sons Curtis and Roger. She is survived by her sons Clarence (Linda), Gary (Carol), Ronnie (Gail), Greg (Lisa) and daughter Gail, and daughter-in-law Becky. Alice had 16 grandchildren and numerous great and great, great grandchildren. Viewing will be held on 30 January, 2026 from 2-6 with prayers at 5 PM at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home in LaPlata.
