Doris Mae Turner, age 80, died May 8, 2009 at Solomons Nursing Center. She was born January 1, 1929 in Annapolis, MD the daughter of Charles Vernon and Ethel Mae (Walton) Whittington.

She and her husband Irving W. Turner were former Dunkirk, MD residents. Mr. Turner died November 16, 1979.

Doris is survived by three daughters Lana J. Sedoti of Laurel, MD, Janet F. (Peter) Heckel of Raleigh, NC and Kimberly K. (Chris) Lopynski of Port Republic, MD.; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren and two sisters Nancy Nutter of Prince Frederick, MD and Janet Kuhlman of Woodville, OH.
