Marie Helene "Tink" Resnick, 81, of Prince Frederick, Maryland, formerly of Lexington Park, Maryland, passed away on January 8, 2026, at Calvert County Nursing Center.

Born on March 28, 1944, in Denver, Colorado, Marie was the daughter of the late Clara and Walter Switzer. Known affectionately as "Tink" to family and friends, she lived a life marked by compassion, dedication, and quiet strength.

Marie was the loving wife of the late Carl Theodore Resnick, whom she married on November 12, 1966, in Omaha, Nebraska. Their marriage was one of deep devotion, and Carl preceded her in death on December 14, 2018.

She graduated from Omaha Central High School in 1962 and went on to earn her nursing degree from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in 1966. Marie dedicated more than 45 years of her life to serving others as a Registered Nurse, a career that reflected her caring nature and unwavering commitment to helping those in need.

Marie is survived by her beloved sons, Carl J. Resnick and Jonathon J. Resnick, both of Lexington Park, Maryland; her brother, Walter Switzer of Grimes, Iowa; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Marie will be remembered for her kindness, her devotion to family, and her lifelong service to others. She leaves behind a legacy of love and care that will be cherished by all who knew her.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 1:00 pm in the Charles Memorial Gardens, 26325 Pt. Lookout Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650 with Chaplain Bill Miller officiating.
