Naomi Catherine Carbone, 87, of Waldorf, MD, formerly of NY, died May 6, 2009, at Charles County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Carbone was a cashier for 23 years with American Airlines and a member of the Lutheran faith. She was a homebody who enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was born and raised in a coal-mining town in WV. During WWII, she moved to FL to work where she met her husband. They then settled in NY. After her retirement, she came to live with her son in Waldorf, MD.

Born October 16, 1921, in Ameagle, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ken Osborne and the late Zettie Estep Osborne.

Predeceased by her parents; her husband, Gaston Carbone.

Survived by son, Larry and his wife Nancy Carbone of Waldorf, MD; daughters, Yvette and her husband Mike Salviolo of Woodbury, NY; and Camille and her husband Bob Bauer of Woodbury, NY; sister, Louise Beard of Atlanta, GA. Also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Service and Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
