Patricia "Ann" Mudd Wills, 90, of La Plata, Maryland died December 4th peacefully at her home. She was born April 9, 1935 in Washington D.C.

She is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Julian Blacklock "Blackie" Wills Sr. whom she married September 25, 1954 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Waldorf, Maryland. She is survived by her three sons; Julian Blacklock Wills Jr. (Michele), James Washington Wills III (Susanne), Mark Reed Wills (Lisa), her daughter Julia Ann Wills, three daughters-in-law; Michele Miles Wills, Susanne Lewis Wills, and Lisa Wilson Wills, nine grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by her parents Joseph Burch Mudd and Mary Louise Simpson Mudd, her brothers Joseph "Allan" Mudd, Samuel A. Mudd, David Brian Mudd, and her sister Mary "Nancy" Lee Roper. She is survived by her sister Elizabeth Keller. She is also predeceased by her daughter Helen Brooke Wills and son Joseph Mudd Wills.

Mrs. Wills was a 1953 graduate of La Plata High School in La Plata Maryland and later attended the University of Maryland. She began full-time employment with the Federal Government until she married Blackie Wills, her husband of 55 years where she became a homemaker and both raised their five children.

Ann was a board member on the Wills Group Inc. and was a past chairperson for the Civista Medical Center Foundation including being the co-founder of the annual Civista Mardi Gras Ball. She supported numerous community organizations including the National Association of the Colonial Dames of America and the Charles County Garden Club. She was an active member of the St. Ignatius Chapel Point Catholic Church.

Ann was an excellent cook in the "Southern Maryland Style" and loved the Southern Maryland Community that she felt fortunate to live in. Ann deeply loved her family and the summers she spent on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Family will receive friends for Ann's life celebration on December 10th, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon, immediately followed by a Funeral Mass at the St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Port Tobacco, Maryland 20677. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Julian Blacklock Wills III, Matthew Schley Wills, Joseph Mudd Wills, Michael Bryce Wills, Banks Reed Wills, Samuel "Alex" Alexander Mudd Jr.
