Vernon Anthony Howe, 50, of La Plata, MD, formerly of Bryantown, MD, died May 5, 2009, at The Spring Dell Center, La Plata.

Mr. Howe was a lifetime resident of Charles County and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bryantown. He was a long-time participant with the Spring Dell program on Radio Station Road in La Plata.

Born March 13, 1959, in La Plata, he was the son of the late Thomas W. Howe, Sr., and the late Anna Cecelia Wathen Howe.

Predeceased by his parents and sister, Evelyn Kaye.

Survived by sisters, Barbara Loeffler of Troy, TX; Linda Henderson of Waldorf, MD; Florence and her husband Billy Lee of Waldorf, MD; Margaret Jenkins of Indian Head, MD; and Gladys Allen of La Plata, MD; brothers, Thomas W. Howe, Jr., of Barstow, MD; Melvin Howe of Rosecroft, MD; Clarence Howe of Charlotte Hall, MD; Steve Howe of Indian Head, MD; and Allen and his wife Beverly Howe of Newburg, MD.

Visitation will be Friday, May 8, 2009, from 9 to 11 AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

Funeral Service will be Friday, May 8, 2009, at 11 AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel.

Fr. Joseph Kleinstuber will officiate.

Interment will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery, Bryantown, MD.
