Veronica Mary Baldwin, 76, of Waldorf, MD, died May 3, 2009, in San Antonio, TX.
Mrs. Baldwin was a homemaker and a School Crossing Guard for over 15 years. She loved to play Bingo, enjoyed traveling the United States in a R. V. and visiting 13 countries in Europe. She was a member of the Carriage Travel Club, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department and Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Waldorf. Born December 24, 1932, in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Gruss and the late Emil Carl Renner. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kenneth Baldwin; her sister, Helen Miller. Survived by her daughters, Joan M. and her husband Robert Allen of Memphis, TN; Jeannette L. and her husband Robert Faber of San Antonio, TX; Cynthia L. and her husband Gary Werth of Mechanicsville, MD; Barbara A. Harrison of Yonkers, NY; Sharon K. Baldwin of Jackson, TN; sons, Jeffrey B. and his wife Melinda Baldwin of San Antonio, TX; Clifford W. and his wife Carolyn Baldwin of Oklahoma City, OK; brothers, Jack Renner, Charles Renner and Ernest Renner, all of Waldorf, MD; sisters, Margaret Renner of Waldorf, MD; and Teresa and her husband Alex Renner of Fairfax, VA; also survived by 15 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, May 10, 2009, from 2-4 and 6-8PM with Wake Service at 7PM at the Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, May 11, 2009, at 10:30AM at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, Waldorf, MD. Father Thomas Crowley will officiate. Interment will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD. Pallbearers will be Brian McCann, Cliff and Jeff Baldwin, Gary Werth and Robert Faber.
