John organized and participated in many golfing tournaments with Washington Gas and as a member of the Wicomico Blitz after his retirement. His most cherished days on the course were with his family, particularly with Sanford and Sandy Queen, along with Ray Russell. John always looked forward to family vacations with Nancy, Sanford, and their children, pranks on the golf course, taking his grandchildren to the beach, and attending their many sports activities and musical performances. He was a lover of movies and told a good story. John was predeceased by his parents, his sister, Patricia Downs, and his brothers, Jerry Parker and Marshall Crosier. He is survived by his beloved Pam, daughter Kimberly (Frank), granddaughter Lindsey Leitera (Brad), Frank John Leitera, III (Jordyn), great-granddaughter Lyanna Leitera, and great-grandson Frank John Leitera, IV.
