Barber Sinclair Webster Poe, "Bob", 83, of Drayden, MD, formerly of St. George's Island in Piney Point, MD, passed away on July 5, 2025, on the Poe Family Farm. Born on November 7, 1941, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Agnes Madeleine Poe and the late Martin Webster Poe. Bob was the loving husband of the late Catherine Anne Poe, whom he married on July 14, 1962, in St. George's Catholic Church, and who preceded him in death on October 11, 2022. He is survived by his children, Michael and Julie Poe, of St. George's Island in Piney Point, MD, Gina and Brian Katafiaz of Drayden, MD, and Dale Rizzolo of Leonardtown, MD. Bob is also survived by his siblings, Jerry Poe of Wilmington, NC, and Agnes and Clem Johnson of Hollywood, MD. In addition, Bob is survived by his grandchildren, Dillon Poe and Brandon Poe, both of Gates, NC, Tayler Denney of California, MD, Kai Denney of Drayden, MD, and Dana Katafiaz, as well his granddaughter, Emma Katafiaz.

Bob was a lifelong St. Mary's County, MD resident. He graduated from St. Michael's in 1959. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland. Bob was a Machinist and Mechanical Engineer for the Federal Government for 38 years, retiring in 1992. Bob was an avid waterman and enjoyed working the family farm. He thoroughly enjoyed being around family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, in Holy Face Catholic Church, Great Mills, MD, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM with Father Scott Holmer officiating. Interment will follow at St. George's Catholic Church Cemetery, Valley Lee, MD. A reception will follow.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Katafiaz, Dillon Poe, Brandon Poe, and Dale Rizzolo.
