Baker, Ollie Elizabeth Swann, Age 80 of Indian Head, Maryland.

Suddenly, on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at her home in Indian Head, Maryland, Ollie Elizabeth Swann Baker, age 80, departed this life and entered a life of eternal peace.

Ollie was born June 27, 1928 in Pomfret, Maryland to the late Sally Green and the late Harrison Swann.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Bradley Baker; daughter, Mary Helen Belfield Carroll; son, Anthony James Baker; grandchildren; Derrell Thomas, Derick Williams and Stephen Barnes; sister, Gladys V. King.

She leaves to cherish her memory, twelve children; Lorraine Thomas, Gloria Barnes, Joyce Savoy, Dale "Evelyn" Jackson, Janice Coby, Bernadette Stuart, David Belfield, Melvin "Ricky", Calvin, Andre, Craig and Mark Baker. thirty nine grandchildren, seventy one great grandchildren; three sons-in-law Gary Jackson, Ronald Cobey and Danny Stuart; two daughters-in-law Paula Belfield and Tonia Baker; one nieces Peggy Swann, two very special friends, Shirley Middleton and Mary Bush and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

Viewing 8:00-10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at Thornton Funeral Home, 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church, 4590 Saint Joseph's Way, Pomfret, Maryland. Interment Church Cemetery.
