Jean Kelly Hill, 82 of Mechanicsville, MD died on April 21, 2009 at Civista Medical Center, La Plata, MD. Born on November 11, 1926 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late William Kelly and Mary J. Morris Kelly.

Mrs. Hill has resided in this area for 6 years. She was a Homemaker and was a Jehovah's Witness and belonged to Hughesville Congregation. She was a 1946 Graduate of St. Cecelia's Academy. Her enjoyments were studying the Bible, helping to teach others the Bible, reading, sewing, and gardening.

Survived by her husband, Joseph Bruce Hill, Sr., children and their spouses, Joseph B. and Toni Hill, William F. and Cathy Hill, James C. and Joyce Hill, Mary Jeanne and Bob Sheetz, Michael K. and Stacey Hill, and John A. and Evelyn Hill, 13 grandchildren, Christine, Sheri, Brendan, Mathew, Morgan, Kelly, Bobbi Jo, Shannon, Michael, Jane, Crystal, Jeanine, and John and 2 great-grandchildren, Katie and Johnny. She is predeceased by a brother, William Francis Kelly.

Family will receive friends to Celebrate Jean's Life on Sunday, April 26, 2009 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 11 am at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 6430 Valyn Dr., Hughesville, MD. Interment private.
