Lois Ann Wood Leicht, 86, peacefully passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025 in Leonardtown, MD. Born on September 23, 1938 in Leonardtown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mabel Wood. Lois was the loving wife of the late Raymond Leicht. She is survived by her children, Deborah Shepherd, Richard Pilkerton, Joyce Petrovich and Shari Leicht, her 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her children James Pilkerton, Brenda Cusic, and Larry Leicht.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with prayers recited at 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home in Leonardtown, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Drew Royals officiating and Concelebrating Rev. David Beaubien. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery Helen, MD. Pallbearers will be Julian Leicht, Thomas Pilkerton, James Pilkerton III, Josh Combs, Kyle Russell, and Dana Wood. Honorary pallbearers Tammy Lewis, Melissa Russell, Shauna Modlin, Patricia Thomas, Rachel Kahl, Sheila Granger, Deanna King, Alycia Cook, and Victoria Brewer.

Memorial donations may be made in Lois Name to Colby's Crew Rescue, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, St. Aloysius Catholic Church, or St. Mary's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
