Gloria B. Campbell, 82, of Waldorf, MD, died April 9, 2009.

Mrs. Campbell was an Administrative Assistant for 20 years at the U.S. Census Bureau. She was a member of St Peter's Catholic Church; a member of the Oxon Hill Volunteer Fire Department Auxilliary; Prince George's County Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxilliary; past president (1968-1969) of the Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department Auxilliary; Southern Maryland Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxilliary; past president (1996-1997) of the Southern Maryland Antique Arts Society; and a member of the Altar Society at St. Peter's Church.

Born May 3, 1926, in Newport News, VA, she was the daughter of the late George Alfred Woody and the late Geneva Ruth Brown.

Predeceased by her parents; husband, Joseph Sylvester Campbell.

Survived by her daughters, Cheryl Anne Campbell of Waldorf, MD; Constance Rae Campbell of La Plata, MD; Maureen Lee Walker and her significant other Anthony Nicro of Waldorf, MD; and Theresa J. Campbell and her significant other Lee Shuler of Greensboro, NC. Also survived by ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 11, 2009, from 2-4PM and 6-8 PM with fire department service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD 20646.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, April 13, 2009, at 11 AM at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Waldorf, MD.

Msgr. Bill Parent will officiate.

Pallbearers will be James Burke, Jeffrey Goslee, Ian Campbell, R. Christopher Hurt, Joseph Walker, Ryan Krause, Devin Krause, and Gary Mead.

Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, MD.
