Lynda Mae Bowman, 81, of Lusby passed away December 1, 2024 at her home. She was born October 3, 1943 in Washington, DC to James Marshall and Doris Mae (Spahr) Carpenter.

Lynda was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Bowman, daughter Rhonda Charest, grandson Matthew Charest, brother Keith Carpenter, and son in laws Matthew Charest and Martin Jackson. She is survived by her beloved dog Nina, her children Diana Stoaks of Prince Frederick, Elizabeth "Liz" Newman and her husband Anthony of Meredosia, IL, and George Francis "Frank" Jackson, Jr. and his wife Diana of St. Leonard, grandchildren Brandi Briggs and her husband Kenny, Frankie Jackson and his wife Lauren, Heather O'Donnell and her husband John, William Charest and his wife Dawn, and Kenneth Charest, 11 great-grandchildren, brothers Gary Carpenter and his wife Laura and Greg Carpenter and his wife Ronda, and sisters Marsha Krashoc and her husband John and Virginia Carpenter Riley.
