Margaret Louise Butler of Oakville, Maryland, daughter of the late William Howard and the late Mary Etta Dyson, peacefully transitioned to rest on Saturday evening, March 28, 2009, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland, after a long illness.

Louise was born on August 20, 1940 in Morganza, Maryland. She was educated in the St. Mary's County Public School System, and grew up in the Oakville area. She was employed as a dietician at St. Mary's Hospital for 28 years. During her earlier years, Louise, with her twin sister Elizabeth, together expressed their love for the gift of music and fine dancing on many occasions, and was known affectionately by many as "the Dyson twins." In 1968, she met and married the love of her life, Philip Butler. Everyone who knew Louise knew that the mere mention of her beloved Phil could quite easily put a smile in her heart and a sparkle in her eye. She enjoyed singing and many different types of music, most of all the Kingdom Melodies. Louise loved to shop, and especially enjoyed the treasures and bargains she would find at yard sales.

In February of 1977, Louise embarked on the beginning of what would become a spiritually enriching, rewarding and happy life when she dedicated her life to Jehovah by water baptism. Because of her love for Jehovah and for her neighbor, throughout her life Louise had a full share in the ministry work by spreading the good news of God's Kingdom. Those who knew her were touched by her faith in her God Jehovah, and her dedication to doing His will.

Because of her warm heart, jovial yet gentle spirit, her never-ending kindness, care and concern for others, many whose lives were touched by Louise always remembered her, and none ever forgot her never fading, beautiful bright smile which could light up the quietest room. Many a Sundays were spent at "The House" as the family home fondly became known as – mostly because of all the joy and laughter that flowed as freely as the many wonderful dishes Louise enjoyed preparing. Her nurturing ways and love for family made these occasions memorable.

Her brothers Francis Dyson, William Dyson Jr., Howard Dyson, as well as her sisters Josephine Plater, Shirley Shelton and Elizabeth Chase preceded Louise in death. Louise leaves to cherish her memory ~~ her husband Philip Butler, her five children Audrey (Larry), Jacqueline (Robert Lee), Philip Jr. (Anjuan), Karren, David, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, two brothers, Joseph and Freddie Dyson and many other relatives and friends.
