On October 2, 2024, James "Kenny" Kenneth Bentley sadly passed away. He was born on September 5, 1967, to Billy Ray and Wanda Bentley in Washington, DC.

Kenny took great pride in his work. He was a company jobber for Country Snacks. He found joy in his work and in his customers.

In 1987, he met his future wife, Sandra. They fell in love and were married on January 30, 1988. They were blessed with five children, James Bentley, Jr. of Mechanicsville, MD, Brandon Bentley of Mechanicsville, MD, David Bentley of Mechanicsville, MD, Jacob Bentley of Mechanicsville, MD, and Hannah Bentley of Mechanicsville, MD.

In his free time, he enjoyed listening to music and spending time with his family. Additionally, he was an active member of the Moose Lodge.

Kenny was predeceased by his father. He is survived by his mother, beloved wife, children, brother Billy Ray Bentley, Jr., and grandchildren Liam Bentley, Rayleigh Bentley, Aubrey Norris, Davina Norris, and Klye Beson.

On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, the family will receive friends for the visitation from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Brinsfield Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A funeral service will be held the following day at the funeral home at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow after the service at Charles Memorial Gardens, 26325 Point Lookout Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately after the burial at Encounter Christian Center, 30080 Henry Lane, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622.

Pallbearers will be James Kenneth Bentley, Jr., Brandon Joseph Bentley, David Michael Bentley, Jacob Daniel Bently, Billy Ray Bently, Jr., and James Daniel Bentley.
