B. Janell Stafford, 80, of Prince Frederick, MD passed away on March 31, 2009 in Prince Frederick, MD.

She was born on November 14, 1928 in Plum Point, MD to the late Guy W. and Blanche V. Ogden Wilburn. Janell, who was Grandma to everyone, loved her cats, dancing, partying, and having a good time.

Beloved wife of the late Melvin L. Stafford, mother of Jennifer A. Mattera ( Ronald, "Moe") of Huntingtown, MD. Grandmother of Kelly Windsor (Kevin) of Lothian, Jessica Monroe (Jeff) of Grottoes, VA., and John Mattera (Michelle) of Huntingtown. Great grandmother of Kevin and Christopher Windsor, Hunter and Austin Monroe and Allison and Whitney Mattera. She is also survived by her devoted companion, Alfred Rowell of Prince Frederick, and sister of Mary Ann Wells of Huntingtown and the late Norma Lee Gott.

The family will receive friends on Thursday April 2, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Rausch Funeral Home, 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD where services will be held on Friday April 3, 2009, 11 A.M. Interment will follow in Asbury Cemetery, Barstow, MD. Memorial contributions may be made to either March of Dimes, the American Heart Association or Charity of your choice.
