Clifford D. Whittemore " Cliff", 48, of St. Leonard, MD passed away on March 24, 2009 at Georgetown University Hospital.

Born was born on September 13, 1960 in Bronx, New York to Ilsa Ingino Whittemore and the late Douglas Whittemore.

Cliff graduated from Walt Whitman High School. He was a DC Fire fighter and after he left, he launched his career as a project manager in the construction industry. Cliff enjoyed his family and the numerous family gatherings that occurred throughout the years. He liked to watch sports, especially the Washington Redskins. He loved boating, fishing, and going to the Ocean city Beach house for some R&R.

Beloved husband of Susan M. Whittemore, devoted father of Kristin and Amanda Whittemore , stepfather of Lena Grierson (Steve), Tonia Raley (Ashley) and William Nuckols, Jr. Grandfather of Brandon, Andrew, Justin and Marissa, he is also survived by his mother Ilsa Whittemore, his sister Ariane Whittemore – Carpenter ( Jack), sister in law Linda Clem (Mike) and uncle of Jaclyn and Sean.

The family will receive friends at the Rausch Funeral Home, 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD on Friday March 27, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. where services will be held on Saturday March 28th, 11 A.M. Interment will follow in Chesapeake Highlands Memorial Gardens.
