Trinidad "Tina" Jimenez Heuer-Johnson of Welcome, MD, died in her home peacefully Sunday, March 22, 2009, of natural causes.

Tina was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States to be closer to sister, Maria Yake and her nieces and nephews. Tina loved gardening, gambling, playing the piano, shopping and cooking. Tina had owned a business at the Charlotte Hall Farmers Market as well as previously being part owner of Scotts Store in Welcome, MD. Tina was a true fighter surviving many health conditions including diabetes, stroke and breast cancer.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Juan Sierra Jimenez and Soledad Borras Arimbay; two husbands, Calvin W. Heuer and John C. Johnson; brother, Pedro Jimenez; sister, Carmen Sanchez; brother-in-law, Harry Lee Yake, Jr.

Tina leaves behind sisters, Maria Soledad Yake and Juanita Jimenez; neice and caregiver, Maria Yake-Bryan; niece, Maria Jimenez; nephews, Harry, Kenny, Nathaniel and CJ Yake as well as Peter and Manuel Jimenez. Tina also leaves behind many great nephews and nieces. Tina was a caring and loving sister and aunt and will be truly missed.

A private family gathering will be held in a few weeks to celebrate Tina's life.
