Dorothy Aldora Jenkins, 81, of Waldorf, MD, died March 20, 2009, at Genesis La Plata Center.

Mrs. Jenkins was a layout worker at Jands Printing Co. in Silver Spring, MD, for 40 years.

Born December 26, 1927, in Jackson, MS, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Dewit Hinton and the late Eloise Helton Hinton.

Predeceased by her parents and late husband, Ralph Clinton Jenkins, Sr.

Survived by sons, Michael R. Jenkins, Sr., of Waldorf, MD; and Ralph C. Jenkins, Jr., of FL; daughter, Linda F. and her husband Ralph Parr of Tampa, FL. Also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be private.

Interment will be at Maryland Veterans' Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD, at a later date.
