Edward "Tank" Martin, Sr. of La Plata, Md. Died on March 16, 2009 at the Washington Hospital Center. He was born on September 14, 1940 in Washington, DC to the Late Francis Martin, Sr. and Alice Soper Martin.

He is also predeceased by his Son David Martin and his Brother Francis "Fuzzy" Martin.

He is survived by his Wife Linda Martin, two Son's Eddie Martin, Jr. (Jackie) and John Martin. Sister Anna McCauley, and five Grandchildren Morgan, Casey, Stacy, Dustin, and David, Jr. Mr. Martin enjoyed Hunting, fishing, softball, and owning his 1956 Ford during that time he was a member of a car club. Mr. Martin was a steamfitter and a member of Local 602.

The family will recieve friends on Saturday March 21, 2009 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church LaPlata, Md. form 10:30am to 12:30pm followed by a Funeral Service at 12:30pm. Interment will be private.
