Louisa Thompson Goad, 77 of Aquasco, MD passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Born March 8, 1931 in Dugspur, VA, she was the daughter of the late Emmett and Gracie Sutphin Thompson.

Mrs. Goad moved to Prince George's county in 1955, she and her late husband William Colden Goad owned and operated the Goad Lumber Mill in Aquasco, MD.

Louisa enjoyed yard work, helping others as a care giver in their homes, blue grass music, flat footing music and being with her family.

Mrs. Goad is survived by her children; Tony Goad, (Terri), Ricky Goad, (Midgie) and Donna Wilkinson, (Eddie), sister; Bonnie Dickerson, grandchildren; Kevin and Kyle Goad, Amber Guy, Ashley Ednie, Brent Goad, Sherri Tucker and Michael Wilkinson, also survived by great-grandchildren; Rylie and Brooke Guy and Ryan and Blake Tucker.

In addition to her parents and husband Mrs. Goad was preceded in death by her siblings; Clinton Thompson, Kevie Stone and Christine Webb.

Friends are invited to Louisa's Life Celebration on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm in the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622, where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 11am.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 1889, LaPlata, MD 20646 and or Capital Hospice, 9200 Basil Court, #200, Largo, MD 20774

Interment will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2009 in Buffalo Mountain Cemetery, Willis, VA.
