Barbara Victoria Clark Rogers of Broome's Island, Maryland passed away on December 27, 2022, at her Broome's Island home, with her family by her side. She was born on March 17, 1942, at the Calvert County Hospital in Prince Frederick to the late John Lawrence and Eloise Buckler Clark. She grew up with her parents, sister, and brother in Huntingtown, MD. Barbara graduated from Calvert High School and went on to receive her nursing degree from the Union Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She married Donald L. Rogers on August 22, 1964. They spent the first few years of their marriage in Cheyenne, Wyoming where she worked as an Operating Room nurse. Following Don's discharge from the Air Force they returned to live in Broome's Island. Barbara was a nurse with the Calvert County Health Department for the majority of her nursing career.

Barbara enjoyed reading, researching family genealogy, and vacationing on Cudjoe Key in Florida. She was an active member of the Huntingtown United Methodist Church and a volunteer at Calvert Memorial Hospital. She loved her family and spoiled her grandchildren every chance she could. She was a beautiful person inside and out, and never hesitated to help others with kindness and compassion.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, her brother, John Lawrence Clark, Jr., and her son-in-law, Parran Broome Briscoe. She is survived by her daughters: Kelly Rogers-Elliott (J. Christian Elliott), Holly R. Briscoe, Dawn L. Rogers, her grandchildren: Dylan and Clark Elliott and James and Delaney Briscoe, and her sister: Patricia Horsmon.
