Hazel Marie Moore of White Plains, Maryland, peacefully died on Monday, June 27, 2022. She was 96 years old.

Born in Sturgis, South Dakota, she was the daughter of the late Max Meyer and the late Nora McAbee Meyer. She worked for the La Plata Post Office until her retirement in 1984. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, bingo, and socializing with her many dear friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six sisters; two brothers; grandson Kyle; and her husband Benjamin "Warren" Moore Sr.

She is survived by her sister Shirley; her son Benjamin W. Jr. "Skip" and wife Carolyn; step-son James W. Moore and wife Donna; grandchildren Stephanie, Jennifer, Clayton, and Alaina; great grandchildren Katelyn, Shelby, Kayla, Andrew, Olivia, Darla, Miranda, Landon, Vivienne, and Fiona; great great grandchildren Kaleb, Zac, and Eleanor.

Services and interment will be private.
