James Bryce Crampton Jr. of Bel Alton, Maryland died suddenly on August 10, 2006 in Washington, DC. He was 47 years old.

Born August 26, 1958 in Washington, DC to Carol and James B. Crampton Sr. Jimmy worked as a mechanic for the Metro Transit Authority in Washington, DC. He enjoyed old cars, spending time on the computer and following NASCAR, especially Mark Martin.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy is survived by his wife Debora Sue Crampton; sons James B. Crampton III and Jeremy Lee Crampton; daughter Kimberly Nicole Rosebush; friend "like a son" Steve Waterman; granddaughters Lexi Waterman and Makala Waterman; brothers David Crampton and Gary Crampton; sister Angel; Nephew Gary Michael Crampton Jr.

Family to receive friends on Sunday, August 13, 2006 from 2PM to 6PM at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. 30195 Three Notch Road Charlotte Hall, Maryland where Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 14, 2006 at 10AM. Interment to follow at Charles Memorial Gardens in Leonardtown, Maryland.

Pallbearers are James B. Crampton III, Jeremy L. Crampton, Jim McCright, Jason Cook, Steve Waterman and Maurice Owens. Honorary Pallbearers are Gary Crampton, Mikey Crampton and Mark Cook.
