Lawrence Wade "Larry" Moreland, 70, of Lusby, MD, passed away January 22, 2009 after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was born Dec 4, 1938 in Washington, DC; he was the son of the late James H. Moreland and Eva L. Moreland (Tucker).

He is survived by his beloved fiance, Elenita Miller, three children, Kevin Moreland, Jonathan Moreland and Shaina Barnes, 8 grandchildren, Renada, Stevie, Ethan, Drew, Tyler, Spencer, Sadie and Aiden, as well as 5 brothers and sisters.

Larry graduated from Suitland High School in Suitland, MD. Larry loved spending time with his family, playing cards and doing crossword puzzles.

Visitation will be held at Lee Funeral Home, 8125 Southern Maryland Blvd. (Route 4), Owings, Maryland 20736, on January 29th from 5pm to 8pm.

Services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Upper Marlboro 7415 Crain Hwy, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772, on January 30th at 9:30am with a short internment at the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery.
