Benton "Ben" Joseph Thompson, Jr., 71, of Prince Frederick passed away January 31, 2022 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. He was born August 15, 1950 in Alexandria, VA to Benton Joseph Sr. and Mildred Patricia (Reynolds) Thompson. Ben graduated from St. Peter's University in Jersey City, NJ with a Bachelor's of Science Degree. He lived in New Hampshire for over 30 years. Ben married his wife Deborah on March 28, 2015 and they lived in Bloomfield, NJ before moving to Prince Frederick 5 years ago. He enjoyed riding motorcycles for 46 years and taught skiing lessons to the handicapped. Ben loved spending time with his family, being outdoors and everything that came with it and he greatly missed his dog Squire.

Ben is survived by his loving wife Deborah Thompson, daughter Lisa Ann Van Dyke and her husband Robert, stepson TJ Roberts, grandchildren Liam, Landon, and Olivia Van Dyke and Soleil, Kingston, and River Roberts, sister Elizabeth "Liddy Bit" LaMagna, numerous nieces, a great niece, two great nephews and many relatives and friends.
