Linda Jean Jones, 62, of Lusby, MD passed away January 28, 2022. She was born July 16, 1959 in the Baltimore-Arbutus area, to Betty Jo (Garner) and Paul Delone States. She moved to southern Maryland at a young age, and attended schools in Oxon Hill and Waldorf, MD. She moved to Calvert County in 1997, where she met her beloved partner, Preston, and together they made a wonderful home. She worked as a baker, and was a wonderful homemaker. She had a deep love of God and her family, especially her sister Paula. Linda enjoyed a bounty of wild life, and touched the heart of everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by all.

Linda is survived by her fiancé Preston W. King III, her sister Paula A. Houghton and her husband Johnny Pearson of St. Leonard, a brother Clifton P. States and his wife Tina of North Carolina, son Matthew Derek Correll, grandchildren Jordan, Tori and Emily. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a son Preston W. King IV.
