Arcadia Ann Holt, 62, of Lexington Park, MD died on January 16, 2009 at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, DC.

She was born in Morganza, MD on March 5 1946 to the late John Columbus Holt and Carrie Elizabeth (Mason) Holt.

She is survived by a daughter; Shirley A. Holt-Yates and her husband Michael of Mechanicsville, MD, a son, Donald Holt and his wife Melissa of Lexington Park, MD, four sisters; Sarah Holt of Lexington Park, MD, Agnes Courtney of Leonardtown, MD, Evangeline Holt of Leonardtown, MD, Rose C. Holt of Morganza, MD, two brothers; Robert Holt of Morganza, MD and David F. Holt of Hughesville, MD, three grandchildren; Robert C. Toye Donald A. Holt, Jr. and William D. Holt.

In addition to her parents Arcadia was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline A. Medley, two brothers; James P. Holt and Philip Holt.

Family will receive friends on Friday, January 23, 2009 from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 29119 Point Lookout Road, Morganza, MD 20660 where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Father Keith Woods pastor of the church will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in the Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.
