Chelli was a Center Director for Lasik Plus in Alexandria, VA for 6 years. She liked dancing, playing cards, and going out with family and friends. She coached Little League basketball and was a Team Mom with the cheerleading squad. She was a devoted daughter and was always taking care of extended family.

She was the daughter of James H. Kinsey, Jr. and Jean Avery Lawson.

She is survived by her parents, one daughter, Lea Nicole Kinsey Thompson of Waldorf, MD, paternal grandmother, Sara C. Kinsey, one brother, Robert Anthony Cooper of Waldorf, MD, one niece, Shantyl D. Cooper, one nephew, Robert A. Cooper II, three great nephews, Timothy T. Mason, Jr., Antonio J. Cooper, and De'Marcus Mason, five aunts and four uncles.

Also survived by her Godmother, Mary V. Edwards, four Godsisters, Donna, Bonnie, Janice, and Rhonda Edwards, and one Godbrother, Michael Edwards.

A Service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2009 beginning at 11am at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Waldorf, MD. Clergy will be the Monsignor Bill Parent.

Interment to follow at St. Peter's Catholic Church Cemetery, Waldorf, MD.
