Jean Marie Thrasher, 74, of Waldorf, MD, died December 19, 2008, at her residence with Hospice.

Jean was a member of the Coin and Stamp Club at the Clark Senior Center in La Plata. She enjoyed geneology and family history, liked to travel and worked as a volunteer at the Charles County Historical Society. She was a member of the White Plains Church of Latter Day Saints.

She was the daughter late Clifford Thomas Prespare and the late Elsie Marie Van Vraken Prespare.

She is predeceased by her parents; son, Patrick Thrasher; sisters, Joanne foster and Margaret Forrester.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd Anthony Thrasher, Jr.; daughter, Jane Thrasher, of Waldorf, MD; son, Michael Thrasher of CA; daughter, Ann Harvill (Douglas) of CA; Laurie Thrasher of Waldorf, MD; brothers, Clifford Prespare of TN; Paul Prespare of CA; sisters, Lorraine Lawler of FL; Donna LaRue of CA; five grandchildren, Elise Harvill, Jason Harvill, Kevin Thrasher, Michael Thrasher, and Jonathan Thrasher. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A private Celebration of Life and Interment will be held at a later date.
