William Scott Jenkins, 46 of Waldorf, MD, passed away on December 22, 2008 at his residence.

Born July 16, 1962 in Washington, DC, he was the son of William Maurice Jenkins and Betty Jane Osler.

He was employed by Pepsi Cola for 18 years and most recently with Southern Maryland Oil and Suburban Propane. Scott enjoyed the outdoors, bass fishing, hunting and coaching for Waldorf Little League. Scott loved his family and was always willing to offer help to anyone.

In addition to his parents, Scott is survived by his wife of 25 years, Julia Doremus M. Jenkins; son, William Tyler Jenkins; brothers, David Alan Jenkins, William Joseph "Billy" Osler and Richard "Ricky" Alan Burch and his wife, Shannon; sister, Jennifer "Jenny" Ellen Roberts and her husband, Jason; grand parents, James Joseph "Joe" and Doris Hill; in-laws, John "Jack" and Julia McPherson and many other relatives and friends.

A Life Celebration was held on December 28, 2008 at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., Charlotte Hall, MD. A Memorial Service was conducted on Monday, December 29, 2008 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Baden, MD.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the William Tyler Jenkins Education Fund, checks made payable to William Tyler Jenkins, C/O BB&T Bank 2140 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, MD 20601.
