Wanda Cheryl Cooke, 62 of Hollywood, MD passed away on December 21, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital, Leonardtown, MD.

Born August 26, 1946 in Hendersonville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Rosario and Vivian Perry.

Mrs. Cooke retired in August 2008 from the Navy Exchange Patuxent River as a Jewelry Specialist after 18 years of service. She enjoyed reading, especially Vince Flynn and David Balducci; she also loved gems, minerals, dinosaur's, gardening and sitting on her deck watching birds.

Wanda is survived by her husband Lawrence Cooke whom she married on September 3, 1967 in Greenville, SC, sons; Dr. Brandon Lee Cooke of Hong Kong, Sgt. Derek Justin Cooke of Fort Drum, NY and Troy Heath Cooke of Westminster, MD, one sister; Carol Mullinax of Flat Rock, NC, also survived by 5 grandchildren. In addition to her parents Mrs. Cooke was preceded in death by her brother; Earl Joseph Case.

A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 2pm in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.
