Hilda Lee Russell, 71 of Leonardtown, MD died on December 5, 2008 at Civista Medical Center, La Plata, MD.

Born on February 26, 1937 in Capitol Heights, MD, she was the daughter of the late Hershell Alley and Beatrice Della Thomas Sheets. Ms. Russell was a Homemaker. She has resided in this area for 54 years. Her enjoyments were crafting, making afghans, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survived by her children, Wanda Kay Russell Frantz, Cynthia Lee Russell Schiffbaur, David Syndey Russell, Sr., William Samuel Russell, and Daniel Wayne Russell, Sr., sisters, Marie Moreland, Barbara Jones, and Linda Millar, grandchildren, David Russell, Jr., Katie Russell Weeks, Gary Frantz, Daniel Russell, Jr., Kimberly Russell, John Schiffbauer, and great grandchildren, Connor, Landon, Brenden, and Sydnie Russell.

She is predeceased by a sister, Betty Wise.
