Elsie Lewis Christophersen, 66 of Charlotte Hall, MD died on November 28, 2008 at St. Mary's Nursing Center, Leonardtown, MD.

Born on July 26, 1942 in Las Vegas, Nevada, she was the daughter of the late Charles Burton Wyke and Hilda Doreen Vincett. Ms. Christophersen was a Radiology Reports Clerk for Southern MD Hospital most of her life. She was very active in church. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. She lead the Singles group. Her enjoyment was cooking; she was famous for her tacos.

Beloved wife of the late Richard Leland Christophersen. Also predeceased by her sisters, Betty Anderson and Wanda Lee Maguire.

Survived by her children, Lori (Mike) Rye and Mitch Lewis, and grandchildren, Michael, Jordan, Cal, and Conner Rye.

Family will receive friends to celebrate Elsie's life on Thursday, December 4, 2007 from 5-8PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD where Services will be at 7PM with Bishop Dennis Reed officiating. Interment will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 11AM in Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Rd., Triangle, VA.
