Betty Patterson, loving wife of Tom for 59 years, passed away at home in the early morning of September 15th, at the age of 79, surrounded by her family.

Betty was born on November 12th, 1940, in Washington, DC and was raised on the creek banks of the Patuxent River in California, MD. Those who knew and loved Betty remember her as an organizer who loved to plan parties. She enjoyed crafting and camping, and together with Tom, they visited all 50 states.

Betty was an awesome & dedicated mom to Robert Patterson and Trish Krobath and her husband John; and extraordinary grannie to Chris Patterson and his wife Ashley Patterson, Ashley Bunder, Erin Krobath and Lexi Krobath. She loved being with her kids and grandchildren whether driving carpools or sewing dance costumes.

She is also survived by her two sister Phyllis Hayden and Irene Gatton, and their husbands John Hayden and David Gatton.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st, 2020 from 9AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 201 St. Mary's Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery.
